What freelancers say after their first April with Ashford

I used to find out what I owed in April. Now I know every Friday, and the money is already sitting in the tax pocket.

Ashford found $4,100 of software and mileage I had never deducted. That paid for the plan for the next 20 years.

My CPA used to charge me for a week of cleanup. This year I sent the export and she finished in an afternoon.

Questions freelancers ask before they switch

Something else? Email hello@ashfordtax.app and a person replies within one business day.

Both. Track and Solo keep your books and quarterly estimates. File adds your federal and one state return, prepared from your books, checked by a CPA and e-filed through the IRS system.

On the File plan, yes. A licensed CPA reviews every return before it is filed and signs off in the app. Most reviews finish within two business days in March and April.

No. Connect your accounts and Ashford imports up to 24 months of transactions, sorts them, and works out what you should have paid so far. If you missed a quarter, it shows how to catch up with the smallest penalty.

Add your paycheck withholding in Settings and Ashford subtracts it from what you owe. Many people with a day job and side income need much smaller estimates than they think.

Ashford is built for sole proprietors and single-member LLCs filing Schedule C. If you have elected S corporation status, we will say so on day one and help you export your books to an accountant.

Any time, from Settings. Export every transaction, receipt and report as CSV and PDF. If you cancel a yearly plan within 30 days, we refund the full amount.
